DESCRIPTION:For the last four years, professionals from around the county have participated in the development of Westmoreland County’s Act 167 Plan, better known as the Integrated Water Resources Plan (IWRP). The IWRP includes the Model Stormwater Management Ordinance, approved by PA DEP and adopted formally on June 4, 2020, by the County Commissioners by Resolution. According to PA Act 167, that ordinance now must be adopted by each municipality in the county by December 31, 2020.\nThe ordinance is flexible to meet the specific needs of your community.
