Westmoreland Conservation District Announces 2020 Conservation Awards
The Ralph Frye family and their operation, Pleasant Lane Farms of Unity Township, has been named the 2020 Conservation Farmer of the Year…and the Municipality of Murrysville has been named the 2020 J. Roy Houston Conservation Partner.
Traditionally, we have presented these awards and celebrated the winners at a reception at our headquarters.
But this year, due to Covid restrictions, we have opted to present them in small, private ceremonies at each winner’s location in October.
Although we can’t gather as we normally do, we invite you to take a few minutes to read the news release or to watch the following videos, and to join with us in celebrating the accomplishments of these outstanding conservationists.
