Pedaling for Conservation on the Coal & Coke Trail

Explore conservation topics while biking the Coal & Coke Trail

Bring your bike and join staff and volunteers from the Westmoreland Conservation District (WCD), Coal & Coke Trail Chapter (CCTC), and Jacobs Creek Watershed Association Association (JCWA) on this easy, nearly 8 mile (round trip) ride on one of the area’s most popular recreation spots. Bikers will stop at multiple sites to hear from speakers about conservation and restoration projects along the trail and learn about local history.

Cost is $20, which includes a Pedaling for Conservation t-shirt and year-long memberships to JCWA and CCTC.

Participants must bring their own bikes! Park and sign in at Rt. 31 Mount Pleasant Parking Lot Trail Head. Registration will be from 5:00-5:30 p.m.

Ride will happen rain or shine. Deadline to register is April 22. Space is limited to the first 30 participants.

Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent.
