Murrysville Healthy Stream Walking Tour

Are you concerned about stormwater, flooding, and healthy streams in Murrysville? Learn about practices that can reduce water pollution in streams. Led by staff from the Westmoreland Conservation District, participants will walk along part of Haymaker Run and see problems caused by erosion and learn how partners plan to fix it. The tour also will learn how the school’s new permeable parking areas and rain gardens prevent polluted runoff from entering the stream.
