The District is pleased to welcome Marco Vigilante as our new Water Resource Specialist. Marco grew up New Kensington and graduated last year from Denison University where he majored in Environmental Studies.
Marco will be working on abandoned mine lands and abandoned mine drainage projects. He has been visiting sites throughout the county, including the one pictured above at the Crabtree Creek discharge where he also met with staff from Hedin Environmental and Loyalhanna Watershed Association.
