A tool for navigating the new municipal stormwater ordinance

Municipalities across Westmoreland County adopted a new stormwater ordinance last year, which focuses on sustainable stormwater management at the local level. Homeowners planning on installing small projects around their house will need to know and understand the rules in the ordinance. To help them navigate the new ordinance, the Westmoreland Conservation District created The Homeowner’s Guide to Stormwater Video Series. The video series walks the homeowner through some sample calculations, covers what they should submit to the municipality, and offers suggestions on what they can do to control stormwater on their property.
